Julie Callaway

Director of Design

Julie Callaway brings over a decade of experience in custom home building and interior design to her role at Front Light Building Co. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Georgia Southern University and is a licensed kitchen and bath designer (AKBD), with a strong background in space planning and cabinetry design. Before joining the building side of the industry, Julie gained valuable experience working at high-end residential design firms and at market for a large scale furniture company, which allows her to bring a well-rounded perspective to the entire picture of the home, from architectural details to the finishing touches. At Front Light, Julie loves walking clients through the design process and helping them turn ideas into homes that feel intentional, functional, and truly personal. She believes great design is about more than selections—it’s about listening well, guiding confidently, and building lasting relationships that continue long after the home is complete. Outside of work, you’ll most likely find Julie on the farm with her husband and their two daughters Savannah and Avery. She draws inspiration from the slower pace of farm life and values time spent with family just as much as she values a well-designed space.
